She effortlessly guides us through incredible arrangements of smoky jazz that treat us to hazy horns, chunky basslines, TIGHT drum patterns, and smooth guitar melodies tying it all together. On top of which, her contributions with the piano help pace the ensemble every time she joins in on the keys. When we produce these sessions, we hope to witness the performers enter unreal pockets through the intimate space that we create. Episode XXXVIII takes that and completely runs home with it. This is a 20 minute display of pure control and comfort on the stage, and we were indeed honored to capture it.
